Three interns join Angel for the summer

We are excited to announce that our team has expanded for the summer, with the addition of three talented interns!

Malachisa Smalling, Jenny McNally and Kiera Reilly will be working with us for 2 months as part of a partnership with Liverpool John Moores University.

The aim of the internship is to enhance future employment prospects. Angel Solutions have given the three interns a chance to gain invaluable work experience, whilst also improving their business skills and talent portfolio.

Jenny, a recent maths graduate, is working alongside our data science team to investigate how education statistics could be utilised in innovative new products.

“Working at Angel is a great opportunity. It’s allowing me to apply the theory learnt at university to real, raw data. The internship will equip me with the knowledge and skills for my future full-time graduate role.” Jenny

Malachisha, our software developer intern, is currently studying computer forensics. She will be collaborating with the software team to create interactive pages to display the findings from Jenny’s investigation.

“I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to join Angel Solutions as an intern. I’ve learned a lot of new topics so far, ranging from SQL Server Management system to Knockout.js, which is used to make dynamic web pages. All of these new skills will be beneficial to me in my future career path as a Software Developer.” Malachisa

Kiera is assisting our sales team with social media and marketing, using prior knowledge from her business degree. She is helping to promote our culture at Angel Solutions and the fantastic products we develop.

“I’ve already learnt so much at Angel that will support my career ambitions. Working in an office environment — even a ‘circus-style’ one — is an invaluable experience, which I am thoroughly enjoying. I’m positive this internship will also help to prepare me for working life and for my placement year.” Kiera

We are thrilled to welcome all three interns, and pleased to see how quickly they’ve got stuck in to their creative and innovative projects. We’re looking forward to seeing them showcase their talents in the coming weeks, and hope they can implement new ideas into Angel Solutions.
