Women in Business Awards 2017

We are proud to be celebrating one of our fantastic lead developers today — María Viejo Ferrera — at the Liverpool Women in Business Awards 2017, where she is a finalist in the Digital & Creative category.

Maria has been a Software Developer at Angel Solutions for more than a decade and is an invaluable member of our team. She is always pushing the boundaries of what we are able to deliver in our software solutions and making our processes more efficient. She has also been particularly instrumental over the last few years in hiring, coaching and leading our ever expanding team of new programmers.

As a Senior Developer, Maria is an inspirational figure to other women who aspire to work in the technology sector — an industry where women are still, sadly, under-represented. We are so proud to have Maria in our team and thrilled that her talent is being recognised more widely.

Hosted by Downtown Liverpool, today’s gala event is celebrating successful female entrepreneurs, business owners and decision makers from across the city region. We would like to congratulate all of the nominees alongside our own Maria Viejo, and thank them all for their valuable contributions to the city we love.
