Team Angel gets creative!
To stimulate our creative talents in the new year, Team Angel spent our first day back in the office learning the art of the chocolatier!

Why, you ask? Because a chocolate-making workshop ticks all the boxes of what we’re about – Learning; Fun; Creativity & Teamwork. (And did we mention how much we love chocolate?)
Thanks to the good folks at The Chocolate Cellar, we heard all about the chocolate making process from bean to bar, followed by a lesson in tempering chocolate and the opportunity to stretch our creative muscles by each creating our own personalised chocolate bars and lollipops.
Everyone got stuck in, keen to reflect their own personalities and styles, as these examples demonstrate:
Of course we didn’t spend the whole day playing with (and eating) chocolate. Team Angel spent our first morning gathered around the grandstand and hearing from our Ringmaster about all the exciting developments ahead for us in 2015.
And it doesn’t end there! Our circus offices are buzzing with excitement all week as we spend some extended time entirely focused on innovation, to find ways to be the BEST we can be this year.
In other words, mini-teams of Angels are working on a whole host of projects outside of their usual remit this week. Teams are collaborating in numerous workshops to find creative ways to improve our processes and develop the best possible products for educators in 2015.

We love giving our team dedicated time to come up with creative solutions. That’s what we’re about at Angel. If there’s one piece of advice we’d give to any business, it’s to strive to be as innovative with your people as you are with your product designs!
